A sign held by a protestor summed up the difference between Democrats and Republicans best, "Better spineless than evil". I don't want the Republicans to win but the Democrats are making it hard for me to vote for them.

I agree erika. Deciding between Democrats and Republicans is like choosing whether to be shot or hung. But even though the Democratic candidates are pathetic, the Republican candidates are downright scary.

Trying to decide between Democrats and Republicans is like having an election where Gomer Pyle is running against Charles Manson.

You just know Gomer won't get anything done, but at least he won't cut your throat while you sleep.

i'm voting with the mickey maus party in 2008. the mickey maus party nominates any candidate who seeks nomination, and is predicated on the democratization of the mickey mouse candidacy (america's favorite mouse has gotten more votes for president than any president in us history).

boycott the two party system: these days, it functions more like a communist one party system. if yor write in your own name on the ballot (or if you write in a pretend candidate of your choice, like ru paul or adolf hitler) you can register your discontent with the two party system. it's the only way to be sure you're not giving your vote to a monster. if you give up on voting and stay home, your discontent will go unheard. vote for yourself and demand to see your vote in print after the elections, so citizens can independently verify the accuracy of the voting system. vote mickey maus!
