What's on my mind is the Decider whining about how his pet congress might object to his new Attorney General's nomination being in jeopardy. Any nominee for America's lawyer who thinks sometimes presidents can be above any laws Congress passes, or who waffles on whether or not waterboarding is torture, is unfit for the job.
And in the Spinning In Their Graves Department, here's a nice little article, a couple years old, about some previous U.S. Presidents' thoughts on torture:
Looks like Schumer and Feinstein have caved and the new AG will be like the old one, a total Cheney tool and avid support of torture. Just another stake in the heart of America's reputation. There isn't much left of the America I thought I knew.
