I am pissed off about the tainted food from China showing up in all sorts of products. First it was the plastic by-product in gluten that was killing pets (and maybe harming people too). Now it seems that food products from China are in many many things in the grocery store. Plus most vitamins are now made in China including all vitamin C's.
China's record of using slave labor and producing tainted products, along with the FDA closing its eyes and sticking out its hands, is letting our food system become contaminated with products of unknown purity, quality and safety. And to make matters worse, it is almost impossible to find out where most foods and vitamins originate.
What's on my mind today is the war. I just finished watching The War, Ken Burns' film about WWII. I was very impressed by it, and moved by the sacrifice of so many young men.
But I couldn't help thinking about how different it is with this current war(s). What we have now is a conflict that America started. We are the invaders. We are responsible for the deaths of so many, and for what? It seems to me, for money. So different from the second World War.
That's what's on my mind today.

Actually, the war is on my mind EVERY day.
