Today baseball is on my mind. Yes, I know it's "bread and circuses", meant to distract us from our sneaky government officials. Yes, I know that a few high profile cheaters have lowered the tone of the whole league.
But it's still baseball! It's the playoffs! As for my hometown team, it's "maybe next year", but as usual for the next few weeks, I'll have something on my mind that doesn't involve lying, hate-mongering, or torture.
