Can America Recover From The Bush Era?

Is the national nightmare almost over or is the damage that Bush and the Republican Party have done to America so devastating that the nation is forever damaged beyond all repair?

Not completely sure about "damaged beyond repair," but the administration clearly has changed our country.

From now on, misbehaving children will be threatened with a visit from Dick Cheney. "If you don't stop that, Cheney will come over and shoot you in the face."

An incompetent act, formerly referred to with the F word, now will be called "bushing up."

Sucking up to someone to get ahead will be called "going Gonzo."

A sexually misbehaving daughter will be called a "jenna" instead of a slut.

And a woman who loses her temper and kills an acquaintance in an auto accident will be said to have "gone all laura" on them.
